There has never been more free material to learn from. What's missing is the order: which parts matter, when, and what to build with them.
FreeCareerPath is a roadmap, not a course platform. Every track is a list of small, ordered milestones, and every milestone runs the same loop: Learn the concept, Do something real with it, Check it against a written standard, Ship it somewhere public.
We will never promise you a job. That outcome depends on a market, an interviewer, and mostly on you. What we remove is the guesswork about what to learn next, and what we give you is proof you did the work.
The core roadmaps are free and stay free. Curation and trust are the product, not the paywall.
Who made this
FreeCareerPath was founded in March 2026 by Phuc Tran, a software engineer in Vietnam, currently preparing to study abroad in Taiwan.
After a year teaching people to code, the same problem kept coming up: not a shortage of material, but no order to it and nothing to show at the end. This site is that order, written down properly and kept free.
The roadmaps aren't written alone. Colleagues and mentors working at Microsoft, Google and Jane Street build and review the tracks — they sat these loops recently, so the standard each milestone is checked against is the real one, not a guess at it.
